Tender Touch Occupational Therapy is a client-centered clinic. Once we assess our clients we then make individualized therapy plans. We see pediatric clients of all diagnoses. Tender Touch Occupational Therapy takes the time to get to know and understand our clients and their families.

Serving the Community for Over 30 Years

Tender Touch Occupational Therapy P.A. was established in 1999 to fulfill a dream by owner Terry Moser to provide occupational therapy services such as evaluations, treatments and consultation services to children in a warm supportive environment. Terry had a desire to provide occupational therapy to children and incorporate the family for more intense carry over of skills into the home. Since its inception, Tender Touch Occupational Therapy has provided therapy and training programs in a variety of environments. Services are provided by highly skilled therapists. 

Dependable Treatment with Your Child in Mind

Tender Touch Occupational Therapy is highly regarded for its services to children with autism spectrum disorder, pervasive developmental disorder, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, learning difficulties, sensory processing, communications disorders and behavioral problems. Our facility includes sensory motor equipment, gross motor and fine motor treatment rooms and suspension equipment. We address the child’s sensory processing and sensory integration needs with advanced techniques and treatment. Treatment is designed to provide challenging therapeutic activities with an enriched sensory experience in order to maximize your child’s ability to participate in daily life activities. We work to improve function and independence of each child across all settings and understand that all children are special and develop in their own unique way. 

Infants, Toddlers/Pre-school and School Aged Are Accepted

Occupational therapists help with barriers that affect a person's emotional, social, and physical needs. To do this, they use everyday activities, exercises, and other therapies. OT helps kids play, improves their school performance, and aids their daily activities. It also boosts their self-esteem and sense of accomplishment. With OT, kids can:



• Develop fine motor skills so they can grasp and release toys and develop good handwriting or computer skills.
• Improve eye–hand coordination so they can play and do needed school skills such as bat a ball and copy from a blackboard.
• Master basic life skills such as bathing, getting dressed, brushing teeth, and self-feeding.
• Learn positive behaviors and social skills by practicing how they manage frustration and anger.
• Get special equipment to help build their independence. These include wheelchairs, splints, bathing equipment, dressing devices, and communication aids.

Our therapists provide tailored plans of care based on comprehensive evaluations that highlight individual strengths and weaknesses. Each plan of care is based on effective therapeutic techniques, including the use of augmentative and alternative communication devices. Therapy can be conducted one-on-one or in groups.
